Four Woodbridge water polo players struck gold at the 2018 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics at Stanford.
The four juniors, playing for the local So Cal Club, endured over a four day, nine game tournament that included the nation’s top 48 teams in the boys 16-and-under platinum bracket.
Seeded 10th going in, the team defeated the No. 2 and No. 1 seeds in the semifinals and finals.
The players are on the highly-ranked Woodbridge squad. The team is ranked 13th overall playing in the CIF 1-2 division.
