Ten Mater Dei High School athletes signed national letters of intent during an outdoor ceremony on campus Wednesday, according to Jessica Perry, associate athletic director.
Three baseball players signed letters. Scott Morales and Chase Nichols signed with Cal State San Bernardino and William Rice signed with Newman University.
Three football players signed as well. Raesjon Davis signed with USC, Terrence Caldwell signed with Cornell University and Marceese Yetts signed with Air Force. Davis signing was aired on the CBS Sports Network.
There were three lacrosse signings. Tyler Curry signed with Grove City College, Lauren Friedman with Amherst College and Skyler Nielsen with Columbia University.
Softball player Gabriella Heftved signed with Hamilton College.
