Northwood’s boys basketball team wrapped up the So Cal Elite Gary Raya Classic with its second consecutive victory, defeating San Clemente 59-53 Saturday afternoon in a consolation round game Saturday.
Seth Locke scored 18 points, Can Oz had 12 points and Trent Harper 11 points to lead the Timberwolves (4-7).
Amit Flint was named to the all-tournament team.
“It’s a good momentum builder for us going into league,” said Northwood’s acting coach Yousof Etemadi. “We had a good half against JSerra Wednesday night and played well last night (in a win over Esperanza). Hopefully that continues into league. We start on Tuesday.
“We just have to keep playing the right way.”
