Cypress boys basketball team won its second consecutive title at the Buc Pride Classic at Bellflower, defeating St. Francis Saturday night 54-53.

Elijah Vaielua blocked a shot at the buzzer to seal the win for the Centurions, according to Cypress Coach Derek Mitchell.
Jared Brown of Cypress scored 19 points and was the tournament MVP. Anthony Tello, who scored 19 points and Vaielua, who scored nine points, were named to the all-tournament team.
