Woodbridge High Athletic Boosters and Oak Creek Golf Club host halftime shootout before Friday’s PCL basketball games

Woodbridge athletic boosters and representatives from Oak Creek Golf Club staged Friday’s shootout before the basketball games with Beckman.

Woodbridge High School’s Athletic Boosters organized a half-court shot competition sponsored by Oak Creek Golf Club before Friday’s Pacific Coast League basketball games between Woodbridge and Beckman.

Woodbridge fans were given tickets as they entered the gym and three fans’ tickets were drawn and selected to attempt a half-court shot. The Warrior fans cheered on Woodbridge junior Jana Novakovic and fans Collin Clarke and Robert Distaso competed to win a gold nembership to Oak Creek Golf Club for a year of free golf.

Michael Tripp, director of golf sales and marketing for Oak Creek Golf Club made this possible.  Although none of the three fans were able to sink the shot, they all walked away with Woodbridge Spiritwear.
