Laguna Hills inducting Eunice Choi and Mark Kwok into athletic hall of fame Saturday at halftime of basketball game

Last year’s inductees into the Laguna Hills athletic Hall of Fame were
Coach Cliff Jarmie and softball player Brittany Lastrapes (pictured along with their high school coaches Al Marzilli and Neal Sontag).

Laguna Hills High school officials are planning the sixth annual Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 19 at halftime of the girls basketball game against Capistrano Valley.

“Pro golfer Eunice Choi (1993) and Olympian Mark Kwok (1995) are our two athletes this year,” said Kirk Brown, a Laguna Hills teacher and football and track coach.

There will be a reception starting at 4 p.m. on campus for friends and family and then the ceremony will take place in the gym around 6:30 p.m. at halftime of the game, which starts at 6 p.m.
