Woodbridge High’s softball team improved its overall record to 3-4-1 defeating Mayfair 3-0 in a non-league game Tuesday.
Ashlee Laver pitched a complete game shutout striking out six and allowing only two hits.
The offense was led by Kate Lim who hit her first home run of the season in the third inning, according to Warrior Coach Jerry Rose.
“It was a two run homer driving in Leah Hoffpauer who had singled and advanced her way to third on a fly out to right by Cadee Wiviott,” Rose said.
“The defense was solid behind Ashlee with only one error on the day.”
