Updates from the Tustin Boys Basketball Classic and the schedule for day two

Woodbridge players warm up in a game earlier this season. The Warriors face Los Osos at 4:30 p.m. today in the Tustin Classic.

The annual Tustin Boys Basketball Classic continues with second round games today at Tustin High.

In a championship second round game, Woodbridge faces Los Osos at 4:30 p.m.

Woodbridge opened the tournament defeating Long Beach Wilson 75-66 on Wednesday. Jackson Rain had 17 points, Brandon Clarke-Hosler 15 points, Luciano Bettus 15 points and Chris Cooper 13 points to lead the Warriors (4-11).

“The team executed well against their pressure,” said Coach John Halagan. “Attacking the press and traps that Wilson employs resulted in numerous layups and 23 made free throws in 31 attempts. Coach (Steve) Scoggin also did a great job of mixing our defenses to keep them off balance.”

Mid-Pacific takes on W.J. Mouat at 1:30 p.m.
