University pitcher Brad Hodges has earned a scholarship to play baseball at Cal State Dominguez Hills, according to Trojans’ coach Michael Thompson.
“Brad is an extremely hard worker who has a desire to play baseball at the professional level,” Thompson said. “He has worked tirelessly in the weight room, at practice and at CBC (Chapman Baseball Compound).
“Brad is a beast in the weight room. We couldn’t be more happy for Brad and his family, and look forward to tracking his success for many years to come.”
Hodges announced his decision Thursday on Twitter.
“I am ecstatic to announce that I have committed to play baseball for the next four years at Cal State Dominguez Hills,” he said. “I believe the coaches and the players are the best fit for me to play for and with. Thank you to all my coaches and family who have helped me get to this point.”
