Sunny Hills boys basketball team defeated California 84-44 Wednesday night in the Rumble for Rosecreans Avenue at Sunny Hills.
The Lancers move on to face Yorba Linda tonight (Thursday, Nov. 15) at 7:30 p.m. at Sunny Hills and hope to advance into the championship semifinals Friday night.
In another game Wednesday, Troy defeated University 81-60 to advance into the playoff division.
Trevor Seesemann led Troy with 20 points and Josh Yoo had 13 points. Carter Won had 11 points and Cole Yauncey 10 points.

Silver Division: University vs. Esperanza, 3 p.m. at Sunny Hills; Paramount vs. Warren, 3 p.m. at Norwalk; Cal High vs. St. Margaret’s, 6 p.m. at Sunny Hills; Santa Fe vs. King, 6 p.m. at Norwalk.
Bronze Division (all games at Buena Park): Foothill vs. El Segundo 3 p.m., Norwalk vs. Oxford Academy, 4:30 p.m.; Kennedy vs. John Glenn, 6 p.m.; Montebello vs. Buena Park, 7:30 p.m.
The tournament continues Friday and Saturday with the championship game Saturday night at 7:30 at Sunny Hills.
