The Ryan Lemmon Senior Showcase baseball games will be returning this year on the weekend of Friday, June 18 and Saturday June 19, according to tournament director Dick Owens.
All games will be at Ryan Lemmon Stadium in Irvine and admission will be charged, Owens said.
Last year’s showcase was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Officials with the Ryan Lemmon Foundation wanted to bring the event back this year and that weekend was the most feasible, even though some teams would not be able to particpate if they are in the CIF finals, which will also be held the same weekend. A number of teams from the leagues scheduled to participate are still in the playoffs.
Rosters will be published later.
