Western Christian High School’s boys basketball team advanced to the second round of the CIF 4AA playoffs defeating Segerstrom 64-48 Wednesday night at Western Christian.

No. 2 seeded Western Christian (20-6) advances into the second round to face Orange Vista Friday night.
Segerstrom (10-18) was led by Jerelle Guidry who had 12 points and Heber Quero, who had 10 points.
“It was a tough season but I felt like the boys grew a lot as the season progressed,” said Segerstrom Coach Eddie Andrade on Thursday. “Glad that we were able to be a part of the playoffs and have more game as a team.”
