Northwood High lineman Xavier Cousar has been selected to play for the South team in the 61st Annual Orange County North-South All-Star Classic on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Orange Coast College.
“It was a pleasure to nominate Xavier, and was excited to find out Xavier was selected from Northwood,” said Northwood Coach Paige Nobles.
“Xavier is a special one of a kind player. He was the most dominating senior defensive player the PCL has seen in a long time. I do not believe we will see another dominating player with his size, strength and agility in the PCL for a long time.”
Cousar was selected as the defensive player of the year in the Pacific Coast League and was also named the All-Irvine OC Sports Zone defensive player of the year.
