Irvine High athletes among those honored at OC Athletic Directors Association dinner

The Orange County Athletic Directors Association hosted a dinner Monday to honor Orange County’s “Outstanding Student Athletes of Character.”

Irvine High was represented at the dinner by Kate Fong (water polo) and Dany Frukacz (football and basketball).

The two athletes “both embody our school values of integrity, honoring yourself and others, and social responsibility,” said Irvine High’s spring athletic director Erik Terry, former football coach for the Vaqueros.
