Woodbridge’s Jacob Nash named Most Valuable Player of Pacific Coast League football team

Pacific Coast League athletic directors have released the all-league football team.

Jacob Nash, Woodbridge, PCL MVP

Marc Filia, Irvine, PCL offensive MVP

Colin Turner, Woodbridge, PCL defensive MVP

There was a first and second team selected but coaches did not make a distinction between offense and defense, according to Northwood Athletic Director Phil Roh.

Jacob Nash, a senior standout defensive back and receiver who helped lead Woodbridge to the Pacific Coast League title, was named the league’s most valuable player.

Irvine’s school-record setting senior quarterback Marc Filia was named the offensive MVP and Woodbridge linebacker Colin Turner, a senior, was named the defensive MVP.
