Dawson Baker scored a career-high 21 points to lead UC Irvine’s men’s basketball team to a 104-54 victory over La Sierra Wednesday night at the Bren Events Center.
Collin Welp scored 14 points and Brad Greene, Jeron Artest and JC Butler scored 11 points each for UCI.
Butler also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds while Baker had four steals. UCI (2-2) made 55.9 percent of its field goal attempts (38 of 68) and held La Sierra to just 39.6 percent (18 of 48).
Uriel Lejtman led the Golden Eagles (0-1) with 15 points.
