Tesoro’s boys basketball team went 3-1 in the King of the Hill Hillcrest Tournament and wrapped up play with a 67-57 victory over ML King Saturday.

Matt DeAngelo and Kaden Garrett of Tesoro were named to the all-tournament team.
In Saturday’s game, Tesoro was led by DeAngelo, who had 26 points and Garrett, who scored 22.
Tesoro defeated Paloma Valley 87-47 on Friday. Mike Mahlen led the Titans with 34 points, making nine 3-pointers. DeAngelo had 12 points.
On Tuesday, Tesoro defeated Orange Vista 73-54. Garrett had 23 points, DeAngelo 18 and Mahlen 17 points.
Tesoro’s only loss came on Wednesday to the eventual tournament champion Hillcrest, 55-45. Garrett had 20 points and DeAngelo and Mahlen 10 points each.
Hillcrest defeated Servite 51-41 in the finals on Saturday.
