Northwood High football player Adam Fujiwara will be furthering his playing and academic career at Chapman University, Timberwolves Coach Paige Nobles said Friday.

“Adam will be earning with no doubt in my mind a starting spot as Chapman’s main long snapper and defensive back,” Nobles said. “Adam played a huge part in the success of Northwood’s football program’s special teams the last two seasons.
“Adam will also be a huge success academically at Chapman coming in with a GPA over 4.0 and will be studying in the health sciences field. Adam on behalf of Northwood’s administration, student body, your teammates, coaches and especially your head coach we are so proud of you and we know you will do great things.”
Fujiwara will graduate from Northwood later this year.
