The 30-team Ryan Lemmon Invitational Baseball Tournament continued on Monday at Orange Couny Great Park and Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
Tournament director Dick Owens said he was pleased with the tournament for Saturday’s games, which were all at the Great Park.
“It was the biggest day ever for attendance,” Owens said.
Admission is being charged this year as the tournament is a fund-raiser for the Ryan Lemmon Foundation, which sponsors it. Concession stands are also open.

Villa Park 13, Corona del Mar 6: Zack Brown (4-1) picked up the win for Villa Park. Tyler Gordon was 2 for 4 with a run scored and three RBI. Geoff McArthur was 2 for 3 with a run scored and two RBI, Brown was 2 for 3 with a run scored and three RBI, Gavin Grahovac was 2 for 4 with two runs scored and Justin Tims was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and two RBI. Villa Park (15-2) snapped CdM’s eight-game winning streak.
Laguna Beach 12, Aliso Niguel 3
Canyon 5, Calvary Chapel 4
Newport Harbor 6, JW North 4: The Sailors (11-8) were led by Joey Wright, who was 2 for 3 with an RBI and four stolen bases; Bryce Blaser, who was 2 for 2 wtih two stolen bases; AJ Guitron Moore, who was 3 for 3 with a double; Jack Morris, who was 1 for 3 with a double, RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base; Sam DiCarlo, who was 2 for 2 with a double and an RBI; and Tino Hernandez, who was 1 for 1.
DiCarlo, who pitched the first two innings, got the win, striking out four. Blaser got the save with two innings of work. He did not allow an earned run and struck out one. Wright pitched three scoreless innings, striking out one.
Woodbridge 5, Marina 2: Jake Perez pitched four innings walking two and striking out two for the Warriors. Brandon Abernathy then pitched three innings, striking out five. Matthew Kuromoto had two hits, four RBI and a home run for Woodbridge (12-5).
El Modena 4, Paramount 1
Esperanza 5, Trabuco Hills 4
Yorba Linda 8, University 2
Irvine 9, Brea Olinda 3: Taylor Skelley pitched five innings to get the win for Irvine (7-12). Skelley allowed three runs and struck out five. Bryan Wilhelm finished on the mound allowing a hit and striking out three. Caden Shaffer was 2 for 4 with three RBI, a double and a run scored; Wilhelm was 2 for 3 with an RBI and two doubles and two runs scored; Tate Zimmerman was 1 for 4 with two runs scored; and Jeremiah Gideon was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored.
