Mark Heller, who for 20 years the television play by play voice on the Cox 3 Game of the Week, will be broadcasting Tuesday night’s San Joaquin boys basketball game between Fairmont Prep and Pacifica Christian.
Fairmoint Prep is 17-6 overall and 5-0 in the San Joaquin League while Pacifica Christian is 16-6 and 2-2.
The pre-game show starts at 6:50 p.m. with the game at 7 p.m. Heller will be teamed up with former Cal State Fullerton basketball star Chris Dade.
Heller’s latest venture is working with Ted Bendrick of TVX sports video based out of San Diego.
Last year Heller, a resident of Rancho Santa Margarita, had his first production covering Fairmont Prep and Avalon.
During his years at Cox, Heller called UC Irvine basketball, volleyball soccer and water polo matches. Heller has been doing broadcasts that live stream on the internet since 2012.
