It’s a big day of basketball for Orange County basketball teams.
At Godinez, top-seeded Santa Clara defeated Sage Hill 68-52 in the CIF 5AA final behind the 23 point performance of center Christian Oliver.
Sage Hill, making its first trip to the CIF finals, was led by Johnny King (16 points, 15 rebounds) and Cooper Green (12 points).
At Azusa Pacific, Capo Valley Christian defeated Palm Springs 43-33 in the 3A title for its first CIF championship. (Please click here to read more about Capo Valley Christian).
