Woodbridge High’s baseball team was off to a solid start with a 6-2 record and won its first and only Pacific Coast League game, led by 11 seniors.
The Warriors had a six-game winning streak when the season ended.
“This 2020 senior class was a special group for Woodbridge High School baseball,” said Coach Ryan Brucker.
“They had committed themselves to having a big season this year and our record in the early part of the season indicated we were on the right track to compete for a playoff berth and to be in contention during league. I want to thank all 11 of the seniors for their hard work and dedication.”
