Four Irvine High athletes sign national letters of intent in morning ceremony

Irvine High held a morning breakfast session on Wednesday to celebrate the signing of athletes Marc Filia (UC San Diego, baseball), Sarah Harker (Manhattanville College, softball), Ellaena Rodriguez (Colorado School of Mines, softball) and Mira Hayakawa (UC Davis, soccer).

Marc Filia of Irvine signed a letter to play baseball at UC San Diego. He was also the star quarterback for the Vaqueros' football team.

Sarah Harker signed with Manhattanville College to play softball.

Ellaena Rodriguez of Irvine signed with Colorado School of Mines to play softball

Mira Hayakawa of Irvine signed to play soccer at UC Davis.
