Crean Lutheran football team tested at tournament

Crean Lutheran’s football team, like seven other squads was tested Saturday in 90 degree heat during the Fellowship of Christian Athletes South Coast Challenge.

New coach Randall Reynoso was able to get a look at his squad in the tournament at Irvine Stadium.

Reynoso praised tournament organizers and said the games helped his team get used to a new offense, new defense and new special teams.

Reynoso has been the offensive coordinator at Crean Lutheran.

Crean Lutheran opens the season Aug. 17 at Temecula Prep.
