“We played well last night,” said Segerstrom Coach Joseph Tagaloa. “Offense was led by Angel Vega who threw for five touchdowns. He connected with Anthony Gomez for two touchdowns and Andrew Schouw, Iverson Fuiava, and Douglas Lopez (one each).”
Segerstrom’s defense was also solid.
“Defensively we got after it all night with solid play from our defensive line,” Tagaloa said. “We had two big interceptions from Farid Partida and Adan Sodora.
“Special teams was highlighted by Andrew Schouw who returned the first punt he received for a touchdown. This was a total team win. We were able to get all of our seniors in and they played well. Maurice Dunning punctuated the defensive performance with a sack on the last play of the game.”
