Western High’s football team improved its record to 2-1 with a 41-0 victory over Baldwin Park Friday night in Baldwin Park.

Quarterback Isiah Del Toro completed 23 of 33 passes for 336 yards and four touchdowns and also had eight rushes for 61 yards and one touchdown.
“I am very pleased with the improvements we are making,” said Western Coach Dan Davidson. “Isiah Del Toro is controlling the offense more and more each game. The offensive line is starting to find their grove working as a unit.”
Caine Savage had nine catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 20 yards for the Pioneers.
Cassius Savage had eight catches for 72 yards and one touchdown.
Western had a 34-0 lead at halftime after Caine Savage hauled in an 80-yard TD catch right before the half.
Soane Motuliki also had a rushing touchdown for the Pioneers.
