Orange High’s football team was clicking on all cylinders Friday night in the Orange Coast League opener against Saddleback at Segerstrom.

The Panthers outscored the Roadrunners 49-0 in the first half and went on to win 49-14. Orange is 5-1 overall and 1-0 in league play.
The second half was played with a running clock. Saddleback scored 14 points in the fourth quarter against the Orange back-ups.
Orange quarterback Daylen Pedroza led the way completing 11 of 12 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns. Isacc Galvan rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns and Isac Adetoye had five catches for 210 yards and four touchdowns. Andrew Andrade had three catches for 70 yards.
“The stats for Daylen Pedroza and Isacc Galvan and Isaac Adetoye speak for themselves,” said Coach Robert Pedroza. “It was all done in only one half of the game. No starters played in the second half.
“I felt the boys were ready to to play tonight. We came out strong and played a good first half. We’ve got to fix the mistakes and keep gettting better every week.”
Saddleback (1-5, 0-1) was led by Brandon Padron, who rushed for 70 yards on five carries and Dominic Madrid who had 66 yards on 14 carries.
