Calvary Chapel High School’s boys basketball team, coached by first year head coach James Larson, clinched its third consecutive Orange Coast League title Wednesday night, defeating Saddleback 77-11 Wednesday at Saddleback.
Calvary Chapel and St. Margaret’s, who both finished 10-2, finished as co-champions of the league.

Calvary Chapel substituted freely Wednesday night and one of the Eagles top players, Carson Franklin, was out ill. A running clock was used in the fourth quarter.
Jordan Embry scored 14 points, Tyler Peterson had 10 points and Matt Lux eight points for Calvary Chapel (17-10 overall).
Saddleback (2-26, 0-12) was led by Christopher Trotter, who had six points.
