Pacifica Christian High School’s girls tennis team notched its fourth straight victory Wednesday afternoon defeating Capistrano Valley Christian School 16-2.
The Tritons’ Bree Clarke, in number one singles, dominated winning 3-0.
“We’ve been out here every day practicing and have been doing a ton of match work,” Clarke said. “It’s been really helpful and practicing pressure points, which is one of the most difficult things in tennis to learn. It definitely helped us pull out the win today.”
No. 2 Lenox Schillereff and No. 3 Kiana Giunta also had perfect 3-0 efforts. Mary Callaghan and Gracie Formsma also did well, winning two of three sets. The match was the fourth win of the inaugural season under Coach Ben Roberson.,
