Pacifica Christian’s girls soccer team opened the season Tuesday with a 4-0 victory over Whittier Christian on the road.
Six freshmen competed for the Tritons in the match, which was the program’s first since January 2020.
Most of the game was played on Whittier Christian’s half.
Freshman Talia Proctot scored two goals, freshman Chloe Nyghn and junior Lelis Bahnsen had one each for the Tritons.
Pacifica Christian is back in action Friday vs. Capo Valley Christian at 3 p.m. at the Orange County Great Park, field six.
