Orange High senior Jonathon Long threw a no-hitter Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader against Savanna.
Long, who has signed to play college baseball with the Long Beach State Dirtbags, pitched seven innings, struck out six and walked one in the Panthers 1-0 victory.
Jason Miranda had a double for the walk-off win, driving in Efrain Ayala in the bottom of the seventh.
Long was also 3 for 5 at the plate with two triples. Orange won the opener 9-4.
It was one of two no-hitters on the day. Saddleback pitcher Alonso Contreras threw a no-hitter against Santa Ana Valley.
