Some exciting news to report from the Irvine Chargers youth football league.
Madden Williams of the Irvine Chargers was selected to play in The Freedom All-American Game, an all-star youth football game, league officials said.
Williams led his team to victory, scoring two touchdowns to help the team capture an 18-0 victory.
Williams was selected the team MVP as well as overall MVP of the game.
The Freedom All-American Game attracted some of the best youth football talent from all over the nation with athletes coming from as far as Kentucky and Texas, just to play against the best.
Monday, Williams will be back on the field practicing with his Super Bowl winning Irvine Chargers team, looking for another Super Bowl win in the Snoop Youth Football League this season, according to an official with the Irvine Chargers.
