Caden Chergey got the victory, pitching six innings, striking out seven and allowing no hits. Owen Faust was 1 for 2 with two runs scored and two walks and Jackson Freeman 2 for 2 with a triple, home run and an RBI.
CORONA DEL MAR 11, HERITAGE 4: The Sea Kings won their second straight game in the Palm Desert All in Tournament. Freshman pitcher Stevie Jones recorded the victory on the mound. Dennis Fitzpatrick was 3 for 3 with three RBI and Van Sidebotham was 2 for 4 with two RBI to lead the offense for CdM (10-10-1).
WOODBRIDGE, 3, PORTOLA 2: Pacific Coast League leading Woodbridge defeated Portola again on Wednesday at Ryan Lemmon Stadium. Jake Amundson went the distance, striking out seven to improve his record to 4-1. Tony DeMarco and Alex Serafin each had two hits for Woodbridge (17-5, 3-2).
