Crean Lutheran’s boys basketball team defeated Tustin 43-29 Tuesday night at Crean Lutheran to remain one game behind Cypress for the league lead.
Crean Lutheran (15-8, 6-1) hosts league-leading Cypress (20-5, 7-0) Friday night.
Josh Shin had 21 points and Mike Birket 13 points to lead the Saints. Tustin fell to 16-9 overall and 3-4 in league.
Villa Park 70, Yorba Linda 60: The Spartans (22-3) won the Century League crossover game. Riley Schroeder had 27 points and Dominic Parker 17 points to lead the Spartans.
Yorba Linda (14-11) was led by Omair Memon, who had 16 points and Luke Ishikawa, who had 14 points. Cory Knutson added 12 points for the Mustangs.
Northwood 44, Woodbridge 33: The Timberwolves (9-16, 4-3) won the Pacific Coast League game behind Amit Flint, who had 19 points and Shandon Sharifi, who had 13 points. Woodbridge (5-18, 3-4) was led by Steven Mimpaya with eight points and Eli Hill with seven.
Beckman 59, Irvine 43: The Patriots (13-12, 5-2) were led by Ethan Bozzo with 17 points, David Manea with 15 points and Shervin
Ghazimorad with 14 points in the PCL game.
