Calvary Chapel 70, Burroughs Ridgecrest 60: Calvary Chapel, the Orange Coast League champion, was led by Micaela Hanning, who had 42 points. The Eagles (24-6) advance to face Cantwell Heart in the quarterfinals Wednesday on the road, according to Coach Jon Hughes.

Godinez 40, Desert Christian Academy 38: The Grizzlies held on for a road win Saturday. Leading scorers for Godinez were Julissa Mota, 10 points; Joanna Alcocer, eight points and Mariana Lagunas, six points.

“After the score was 14-13 we led the whole game,” said Godinez Coach AJ Alaman.

Godinez (19-10) will play the winner of the Bishop Diego vs Yeshiva University of Los Angeles game which will be played Monday.

Yonah Light lead the Lions with 26 points and 14 rebounds, Graydon Carpet added 14 points and Ari Varon 12 points. Jake Coblentz-Brown had 12 rebounds and nine points. TVT’s next game is away against Vasquez on Tuesday, according to assistant coach Jerry Neitlich.
