FOOTHILL 6, ESPERANZA 0: Gavin Lauridsen got the win on the mound, pitching five innings and striking out six for the Knights. Noah Macalino was 2 for 3 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base, Ezekiel Vargas was 2 for 4 with an RBI, Tyler Hawkins 2 for 3 with a double and two runs scored and Garrett Davidson was 1 for 2 with a triple, run scored and a stolen base.
CORONA DEL MAR 8, VALLEY VIEW 2: The Sea Kings were led by Brady Andrews, who went five innings striking out four and allowing one earned run. Isaiah Vasquez pitched 1 1/3 innings striking out three. Ganon Overfelt was 2 for 3 with an RBI, Carter Danz was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored and Marcello Anelli 1 for 3 with a double and two RBI.
LA HABRA 4, SOUTH PASADENA 0: The Highlanders earned their third shutout in four games. Alex Haro pitched six innings, striking out eight. Ryan Abell pitched one inning striking out two. Bobby Fierro had two hits, an RBI and a stolen base, Andrew Gandara had two hits and two RBI and Bobby Brooks 1 for 3 with two stolen bases.
WOODBRIDGE 3, EL TORO 0: The Warriors (3-0) were led by Vince DeMarco, who improved his record to 2-0 with a complete game, two hit shutout. He struck out 11. Alex Serafin was 1 for 3 with an RBI and Jake Haruki 1 for 2 with a run scored.
TESORO 6, CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 5: The Titans were led by Ryan Rios, who pitched five innings striking out nine. Chase Viahos was 2 for 3 with two RBI and Aidan Nieto was 1 for 3.
VILLA PARK 3, CANYON 0: Justin Tims pitched four innings, striking out five and Jake Noble pitched three innings striking out two for the shutout. Shawn Romero was 1 for 2 with an RBI, Aidan Young was 2 for 2 with an RBI and Isaac Barrales 1 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI.
