Boys basketball

GOLDEN WEST LEAGUE

Godinez 62, Ocean View 54: The Grizzlies (19-6, 7-0) inched clincher to capturing the league title with a road win Tuesday night. Adrian Gonzalez scored 19 points and also set the school record for three-pointers in a season with 70. Israel Moreno scored a season high 19 points and made five 3-pointers. Lucas Andaluz added 11 points for Godinez. Godinez last league title came in 2017 when the Grizzlies won the Orange Coast League crown, according to Coach Robert Morgan.

Garden Grove 47, Segerstrom 42

SAN JOAQUIN LEAGUE

Pacifica Christian 64, San Gabriel Academy 57: The Tritons (16-10, 5-1) were led by Hudson Reynolds, who had 21 points. Alex Stewart added 13 points and Michael Noel and Logan Stewart had 10 points each. EJ Spillman had eight points and four assists.

Capo Valley Christian 71, Orangewood Academy 64: The Eagles (11-13, 1-5) were led by Cetin Seles, who had 20 points. Michael Ahern had 16 points and Benjamin Makelela had 15 points and 15 rebounds

CRESTVIEW LEAGUE

Foothill 48, Yorba Linda 43: The Knights (17-7, 4-0) were led by Danny Kennard, who had 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals and Travis Paleo, who had 16 points.

ACADEMY LEAGUE

Newport Christian 56, Tarbut V’ Torah 55: Newport Christian made a long 3-pointer with 11.2 seconds to upset the Lions Tuesday night. Yonah Light again led TVT with 26 points and 23 rebounds. Jake Coblentz-Brown had 11 points and 18 rebounds while Isaac Joelson added 10 points.

Light’s last second shot rimmed out. TVT dropped into a tie with Newport Christian for second place.

CRESTVIEW LEAGUE

Canyon 52, Villa Park 45: Villa Park was led by Mal Johnson, who had 18 points, six rebounds and three assists. Dakari Harris added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Girls basketball

NORTH HILLS LEAGUE

Villa Park 49, Canyon 45: Canyon was led by Justine Prajitno, who had 22 points. Jasmine Prajitno had 12 points.
