Foothill’s boys basketball team captured its bracket championship in the annual CaliLive Tournament in Rocklin, Calif, going 4-0.
“We played hard and very well together,” Coach Yousof Etemadi said. “We had multiple players contributing all weekend.”
Foothill defeated Freedom High School from Oakley, Calif. to win the championship.
The Knights’ leading scorers were Magnus Lawson and Christian Kimlin. Foothill’s Sean Dao was selected bracket MVP.
Dao had 12 points, five assists and two 3-pointers in the final game.
