The first of five games featuring all-league seniors from Orange County high school baseball teams will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. when the Pacific Coast League takes on the Sea View League at the Great Park Baseball Complex Five Point Stadium.
Players from Coach Kevin Lavalle’s Beckman’s PCL championship squad and Coach Gabriel Cota’s Irvine team which advanced to the quarterfinal round of the CIF Division 4 playoffs will play for the PCL team along with players from Northwood, University and Woodbridge. Portola does not have seniors yet.
The Sea View League will be led by Aliso Niguel seniors who were on the Coach Craig Hanson’s team that was 28-5 and won the Sea View League with an 11-1 record. Seniors from Trabuco Hills, San Juan Hills, San Clemente and Laguna Hills are also on the team.
There will be a home run hitting contest after the game.
