It’s another big night for high school girls basketball teams in Orange County who are out to earn berths in the CIF finals Saturday.
Semifinal games are planned Wednesday night, all at 7 p.m.
In the 2A division, Santa Margarita hosts Santiago Corona.
In the 2AA division, Crean Lutheran hosts Orange Lutheran with the winner moving on to face the winner of the Sage Hill vs. Santa Monica game in the championship game.
In the 5A division, Orange Coast League rivals Estancia and Santa Ana meet at Santa Ana and in the 5AA division semifinal, Capistrano Valley Christian hosts Cal Lutheran. In the other semifinal, Laguna Beach plays at Desert Christian Academy.
Top-seeded Pacifica Christian won its Division 4A semifinal game on Tuesday, defeating Shalhevet 82-24 to advance into the finals Saturday against the winner of the Wednesday semifinal game between Temple City and Aquinas.
