Coach’s comment:Â “It was an awesome battle with a very physical team,” said Coach Doug Case. “We were down 21 points early and we put ourselves back in the game. I was very proud of the way the team handled themselves and kept their composure through a rough start to the game. We’re beginning to show the maturity that will be needed to have a successful season.”
This week: Foothill vs. Tustin, Friday at 7 p.m. at Northrup Field.
“Tustin week. We are always up for this game and it should be another epic battle for the crosstown rivals,” Case said. “Both teams have many underclassmen playing. Most of these kids know each other and they will be talking about this game the rest of their lives. We’re excited to be a part of it all.

Coach’s comment: “Capo Valley is a good team that played nearly mistake free,” said Tustin Coach Myron Miller. “Our goal is to improve each day and that’s our plan for this week.”
This week: Tustin vs. Foothill, Friday at 7 p.m. at Northrup Field. “It’s Tustin vs. Foothill,” Miller said. “Not much to say.  It’s always been a great game and I don’t expect this year to be any different.”
