TESORO 61, SAN CLEMENTE 59 (OT): The Titans captured the South Coast League title with the victory Friday night at San Clemente. Jake Bennett scored 14 points to lead the Titans (21-5, 6-1). Carson Brown scored 13 points and hit the game-winning shot with nine seconds remaining.
Blake Manning and Kyle Gleason had 12 points each for the Titans. Nathan Draper had five points and played great defense for Tesoro.
CREAN LUTHERAN 52, TUSTIN 33: Koat Keat had 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Saints in an Empire League game Friday on senior night. First place Crean Lutheran was also led by Parker Tuttle who had 12 points and three assists.
Julian Flores and Eli Nyeazi scored eight points each to lead Tustin (19-8, 5-3). Flores also had seven rebounds.
SANTA ANA 67, ORANGE 43: The Saints (14-8, 6-2) captured an Orange Coast League victory. Emmanuel Lemus scored 18 points and Jack Rivera 17 points to lead Santa Ana. Chris Abraham had 11 points and Jalen Duveglas 10 points to lead Orange (7-15, 1-4). Santa Ana is in second place, two games behind league-leading Calvary Chapel.
LOARA 56, RANCHO ALAMITOS 43: The Saxons (10-15, 4-4) won a Garden Grove League game Friday night.
Rancho Alamitos (7-18, 1-7) led 27-26 at halftime but Loara played tough defense in the third period outscoring Rancho 18-9.
Senior Forward Elias Farhat had 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Loara. Senior point guard Larry San Diego had 12 points and nine assists and sophomore Markus Toscano had 16 points and nine rebounds.
Rancho Alamitos was led by freshman Patrick Nguyen and senior Bradon Nguyen, who both had 15 points.
CYPRESS 73, PACIFICA 49: The Centurions won their second in a row in Empire League play. Jonah Kim had 22 points and made four 3-pointers to lead Cypress. He also had five rebounds and three steals. Dylan Higa and Jonas Hanson had nine points each. Â Â
FOOTHILL 57, EL DORADO 47: The Knights (22-1, 4-0) were led by Cruz Billings, who had 15 points, four rebounds and three steals. Carlo Billings, Braedyn Benhard and Jake Horton all had 11 points for Foothill.
El Dorado (19-7, 0-4) was led by Hudson Novak, who scored 22 points.
NORTHWOOD 44, LAGUNA HILLS 40: The Timberwolves won a Pacific Coast League game. Northwood (16-8, 4-5) was led by Justin Gee, who had nine points. Aditya Sheth and Ryan Abaye had eight points each and Devon Huang seven points each for Northwood.
TRABUCO HILLS 52, CAPISTRANO VALLEY 50: The Mustangs (12-10, 3-3) were led by Caden Wright, who had 21 points and eight rebounds. Nathan Tuttle had nine points and Jack Warnick 14 rebounds for the Mustangs.
YORBA LINDA 53, BREA OLINDA 43: The Mustangs (12-14, 3-1) were led by Jermari Dixon who had 18 points and Jason Cassachia, who had 10 points.
Reed McElroy led Brea Olinda (11-13, 1-3) with 12 points.
CORONA DEL MAR 66, HUNTINGTON BEACH 35: The Sea Kings (20-5, 2-2) were led by Dylan Rogers, who scored 13 points and Sanjay Tewari, who had 10 points.
