Ten Irvine High football players receive scholarships from Teammates for Life

Teammates for Life, a non-profit group of Irvine High Vaquero Football alumni players and parents awarded $7,500 in scholarships to 10 graduating Vaquero football players, according to former coach Erik Terry, who was the spring athletic director.

The players receiving the scholarships were Ethan Shank, Bryce Tanikawa, Zach Lyons, Benny Sotelo, Camren Mertins, Lorenzo Bazzani, Marc “Bubba” Filia, Anthony Ramirez, Dany Frukacz and Jacob Haley.

Terry added that the scholarships were announced and awarded by Victor Cota and Patrick Topping.
