SAN JUAN HILLS 62, TRABUCO HILLS 48: The Stallions finished the week 4-0 to win the tournament at Santa Ana High School led by tournament MVP Mason Hodges, who had 25 points.

NEWPORT HARBOR 86, BONITA 53: The Sailors captured fifth place at the tournament at Santa Ana High School. The Sailors Jack Berry led all scorers with 31 points.

LA HABRA 75, CANYON 63: LA Habra captured third place in the tournament. Acen Jimenez had 32 points, Christian Howlin 13 points, Jaedon Anderson 11 points and Joaquin Arciaga 10 points.

VILLA PARK 65, GLENDORA 58: The Spartans were led by Malakhi Johnson who had 19 points, four rebounds and three assists. Tristan Griffin had 16 points, four assists and two steals and Sabeel Khan had eight points, five rebounds and three assists.

LOS AMIGOS 61, TROY 53: The Lobos were led by Phillip Steinart, who had 21 points. Ricardo Toledo had 14 points and Devin Lee 13 points.

SAN CLEMENTE 62, ORANGE LUTHERAN 48: Christian Fernandez scored 26 points with seven rebounds, and three steals. Chase Tolliver added points and 11 rebounds for the Tritons (4-1).

MIRA COSTA 75, TESORO 55: The Titans lost in the championship game Saturday at Ocean View. Riley Konick and Max Draper of Tesoro were named to the all-tournament team.

FOOTHILL 53, LAKEWOOD 39: The Knights captured the consolation championship of the tournament Saturday. The Knights were led by all-tournament player Danny Kennard who had 16 points and 12 rebounds. Blake Pearson had 12 points and six rebounds for the Knights, who take part in Feastweek this week at Foothill.

ST. JOHN BOSCO SHOWCASE

CYPRESS 49, SANTA MONICA 49: The Centurions bounced back from a season opening loss to Los Alamitos with a victory Saturday.

“We used up a lot of energy last night playing against Los Al, so today was a big challenge to see if we could be resilient,” said Coach Derek Mitchell. “The Centurions showed a lot of grit playing two games in less than 24 hours.  It was a well balanced scoring attack.

Ryan Gov led Cypress with 20 points. King Birdsong added 11, while Hayden Roberts and Jackson Houston finished with 10 points each. 

Cypress plays Edison on Tuesday at Marina’s Feastweek at 5:30 p.m.

BATTLE OF THE BEACH SHOWCASE

JSERRA 80, SAN TAN CHARTER SCHOOL 59: The Lions (1-2) were led by senior Jarne Eyenga who had a team 18 points making 9 of 11 field goals. He also had nine rebounds in the game at St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura. Senior BJ Davis-Ray added 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds and seniors Dominic Bolton and Grayson Sinek each added nine points.

NON-LEAGUE

IRVINE 60, BREA OLINDA 38: The Vaqueros (1-1) bounced back from an opening night loss to defeat the Wildcats Saturday. Holden Stearns had 18 points and three rebounds, Cooper Stearns 13 points and 18 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block and Ali Dal had 11 points, four rebounds and three steals.

CAPO VALLEY CHRISTIAN 84, PALOS VERDES 45: Capo Valley Christian was led by Michael Ahern, who had 24 points. Benji Makela had 19 points and nine rebounds, Matthew Ahern 14 points and eight steals and Shaunt Kechejian 12 points.
