Foothill, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Tesoro and Woodbridge notch baseball wins

FOOTHILL 7, CAJON 0: The Knights captured their third shutout in a row Friday in a non-league game. Everett Rycroft pitched six innings, allowing three hits and striking out two. Brayden Bianchi was 1 for 2 with a double and three RBI, Presley Gaborno was 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base; AJ Nagler was 1 for 2 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, Aidan Gogley was 2 for 3 with a run scored, RBI and a stolen base and Evan Kim was 1 for 3 with a double, run scored and an RBI.

COSTA MESA 10, OCEAN VIEW 2: Will Morales earned the win, pitching the first five innings for the Mustangs (10-2). He allowed three hits, no earned runs and struck out eight. Brenton Rottschafer was 4 for 5 with three runs scored, Grady Jackson 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI, Ben Quintero 1 for 4 with a double and three RBI and Morales 3 for 4 with four RBI.

CYPRESS 14, JSERRA 2: The Centurions completed a sweep of the two-game series with another lopsided victory, this one at JSerra. Drew Slevcove earned the win for Cypress, pitching the first four innings. Nick Nelson and Landon Smith finished on the mound. DeLaquil was 2 for 2 with two RBI, two walks and two stolen bases; Tyler Vladic was 5 for 5 with two RBI, Noah Johnson 3 for 4 with four RBI, Hibiki Suzuki 2 for 4 with an RBI and Ivan Ortiz 1 for 3 with a double.

TESORO 5, YORBA LINDA 3: The Titans won the opening game of the Anaheim Lions Tournament. Corwin Allard pitched the first five innings, striking out four. Charlie Moraga was 1 for 2 with an RBI and a walk.

PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE

WOODBRIDGE 5, LAGUNA BEACH 4: Coach Ryan Brucker’s Warriors completed a two-game league sweep of the defending champion Breakers Friday at Laguna Beach. Vince DeMarco (2-1) earned the win for Woodbridge, pitching the first five innings. He allowed four hits and three runs, walked three and struck out 10. Caden Camacho finished on the mound for Woodbridge and earned the save.

Caden Camacho led Woodbridge going 1 for 4 with three RBI. Vaughn Tase and Alex Johnson had the other RBI for Woodbridge (5-4, 2-0). Johnson scored two runs.

Woodbridge scored three runs in the first inning to take the lead.

Lincoln Adams and Dylan Yencho had RBI for Laguna Beach (4-3, 0-2).

Laguna Beach had four errors in the game and Woodbridge three. Laguna Beach outhit Woodbridge 8-5.
