Edison boys basketbll coach Rich Boyce knows the coaches and attended the Saturday ceremony for O’Brien, Keith and Sondheimer at Cal Baptist.

“Tim O’Brien is not only one of the best coaches I have known he is also one of the most genuine and kind person one could ever meet,” Boyce said. “He is well respected by everyone in high school sports. He is truly a remarkable man.

“Steve Keith was one of the toughest coaches I have ever gone up against.  His teams were always well prepared and tough mentally. Steve always brought out the best in his players both on and off the court.

“Eric Sondheimer is truly one of a kind. He is one of the best ever at covering high school athletics. It always seems like he is at three places at once. At a time where sports reporting seems like it is failing a bit Eric raises the bar continually.”
