Segerstrom High School’s football team, after losing its opener to Thousand Oaks 35-7 on the road Friday, will be out to bounce back when it hosts Santa Ana Valley (1-0) Friday at 7 p.m. in a nonleague game.
Noah Tagaloa, the son of Coach Joseph Tagaloa, had the only touchdown for Segerstrom.
“The game was a tough one,” Coach Tagaloa said. “It was definitely a learning experience for some of our guys. The preseason is to fix your mistakes so that you’re ready, and that’s what we will do.”
