WOODLAND HILLS – The Santa Ana College football team earned its first win of the season and the initial win for Coach Anthony White with a dominating 83-0 victory over Los Angeles Pierce College Saturday night at Pierce.
The Dons (1-3) got off to a quick start as quarterback Ceasar Ayala tossed four first-quarter touchdowns and SAC never looked back.
On its opening possession of the game, following an interception by defensive back Marcus White II, the Dons quickly moved down field. Ayala threw a 40-yard TD pass to Tyler Shimomura, giving the Dons a 7-0 lead. The SAC defense led by Zane Meza, Jalen Jones, and Yair Villalobos forced four turnovers in the opening quarter that led to three more Dons touchdowns in the final five minutes of the quarter.

Ayala tossed a TD pass of 72 yards to Kristian Constantine, then completed a short pass to Arthur Shaw who blazed 97 yards for another score. Constantine scored his second touchdown of the game on a 14-yard TD pass from Ayala, to increase the SAC lead to 28-0 after 15 minutes of play.
In the second quarter, the Dons (1-3) continued to roll. David Griffin added a three-yard TD run and Ayala tossed a TD pass to Jacob Biddle, a TD strike to Donnovan Arrington and another touchdown pass to Shimomura to give the Dons a commanding 56-0 lead at halftime.
Ayala completed 12 of 15 passes for 338 yards and seven TD passes.
“The best part of it was that we never stopped playing tonight,” said Ayala, who had previously thrown seven touchdown passes in a high school game in his senior year at Rialto Eisenhower High against Rim of the World. “We have so many great athletes on our team and we’re going to continue to get better.”
White was pleased to get his first victory as the Dons head coach.
“I’m so excited to the first win and I’m excited for my staff and the kids,” said White. “We played to our potential tonight and we played four quarters and finished. We started 15 freshmen and they are getting valuable experience.”
The Brahmas fell to 0-4.
The Dons return next home next Saturday to host Los Angeles Valley College at the Santa Ana Bowl.
