PHOTOS: Segerstrom captures victory over Loara to advance into tournament finals

Segerstrom High School’s boys basketball team captured a 65-50 victory over Loara Saturday morning to advance into the championship game of the Oxford Academy Tournament.

The Jaguars (8-7) face Katella on Monday in the finals.

Andrew Aguilar scored 18 points including four 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, according to Coach Rex Gonzales. Ricky Carballea had 17 points and Adrian Dominguez 11 points for Segerstrom.

Segerstrom opened the tournament defeating La Quinta 61-37 and Nogales 72-29.
