Boys and girls lacrosse high school teams earned high seeds in the CIF lacrosse playoffs this week.
Girls wild card matches will be Monday, boys wild card matches are Tuesday. CIF officials said that there are 63 boys teams and 54 girls squads entered in the tournaments, which conclude on Friday May 12 and Saturday, May 13 with the championships at Downey High School.
Boys
In Division 1, Loyola is seeded first followed by Sunset League champion Corona del Mar, Crestivew League champion Foothill and Trinity League champion Santa Margarita. Aliso Niguel, the Sea View League champion, is seeded No. 2 in Division 2, Crean Lutheran is second and Canyon third in Division 3.

Girls
Crestview League champion Foothill is first and South Coast League champion San Clemente fourth in Division 1. Portola, which captured the Pacific Coast League title, the first in program history, is seeded first in Division 3. Huntington Beach is seeded third in Division 3.
